Old 100 Boarding House and Tramway House
Silverton vicinity, CO

SHF Projects 99-M1-024 & 99-02-004

San Juan County Historical Society President and County Treasurer Bev Rich descends a steep access on secured line to review the ruins stabilization project last summer at the Old 100 Boarding House and Tramway House outside of Silverton.  Materials were air lifted to the 12,000 foot site by helicopter where local contractors utilizing a State Historical Fund grants sponsored by the Colorado Department of Minerals and Geology, tied the building to the cliff side and re-established structural connections and rigidity.
